The Area Agency on Aging offers speakers on selected topics to interested groups in our nine-county area.  Most presentations are free-of-charge.

The following topics are available:

l      What is the Area Agency on Aging and how can they help? (30 minutes)

l      Care for the Caregiver -– Reminding caregivers they also need to care for themselves, and providing information and tools to do so (30 or 60 minutes)

l      How Old is Old? -- Exploring myths and stereotypes of aging  (30 or 60 minutes)

l      Safe and Sound -- Assessing the home for safety and emergency preparedness (30 minutes)

l      Advance Directives -- The basics, including Ohio forms (30 minutes)
