Residential State Supplement (RSS)

Residential State Supplement provides room and board in approved residential settings if you are Medicaid eligible, aged, blind, or disabled; and are no longer able to live independently.

There are several types of approved living arrangements available within the community.

l      Adult Foster Home for 1-2 residents, certified by our Agency

l      Adult Family Homes for 3-5 residents, licensed by the Ohio Department of Health (ODH)

l      Adult Group Homes for 6-16 residents, licensed by ODH

l      Rest Homes licensed by ODH

l      Community Alternative Home for 3-5 adults, licensed by ODH

l      Residential facility for 1-2 persons licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health (ODMH)

l      Apartment used to provide community mental health housing, certified by ODMH
