Medicare Preventive Services

Preventive services include:

l      A one-time physical exam within 6 months of the day you first enroll in Part B,

l      Diabetes screening tests for people at risk of getting diabetes,

l      Screening tests for early detection of cardiovascular (heart) diseases,

l      Breast cancer screening (mammograms),

l      Cervical and vaginal cancer screening (pap test and pelvic exam),

l      Colon cancer screening (colorectal),

l      Prostate cancer screening (PSA),

l      Flu, pneumococcal, and Hepatitis B shots,

l      Bone mass measurement, and

l      Glaucoma tests.
