Area Agency on Aging Training -- Better understanding of our brain's natural tendency toward a "dominance" can provide a new perspective on the work we do, the people we serve, and the elements that can create stress in our lives.
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. -- 5.5 SW CEUs -- $65 for registrations postmarked on or before 9/8/10. Late registrations are accepted if space is available, and must include a $10 late fee. Continental breakfast and lunch are included.

Healthy U (FREE Chronic Disease Self-Management Workshop)

The Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 is offering this FREE workshop to help people with long-term health problems learn to better manage their condition and take control of their health. People with different health problems attend this small-group workshop.
Weekly for six weeks -- Mondays, September 20 through October 25, 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Classes are FREE, but advance registration is required -- call 800-258--7277. Space is limited.

Healthy U (FREE Diabetes Self-Management Workshop)
9/23/2010: The Naas Wellness Center at Mercy Siena Retirement Community, Dayton
Area Agency on Aging, PSA 2 & Sinclair Community College Lifelong Learning Program are offering this FREE workshop for people with Type 2 diabetes. This proven program increases confidence and provides skills to better manage diabetes and feel healthier.
Weekly for six weeks -- Thursdays, September 23 through October 28, 9:30 a.m. to noon. Classes are FREE, but advance registration is required -- call 937-512-2372 and register for course LL 20 X1.. Space is limited.
